  • Recycle for Sight -- collection of used eye glasses and sunglasses
  • "Coming to Your Senses" -- free vision and hearing screenings for children between the ages of 6 months and 48 months
  • Roadside cleanup of Avenue of the Saints (U.S. Highway 218)
  • Distribution of fruit plates at Christmas to senior citizens and shut-ins
  • Contribution of resources to the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City, the WACO Schools After Prom Activities, the Iowa Lions Foundation, and the Lions Club International
  • Sponsorship of blood drives and glaucoma screenings
Fund Raisers:

  • Collect newspapers for recycling at gypsum plant
  • Sell wreaths and sprays at Christmas
  • Family Fun Night and Soup Supper
